Access to finance for women beneficiaries of the project FEMMES ACTIVES in the ME region


This Saturday, August 12, 2023, was held the Graduation and funding ceremony for women beneficiaries of the project FEMMES ACTIVES in the ME region, Cote d'Ivoire.


From Alépé, Akoupé, Montezo et #Adzopé, more than 230 women from these four towns took part in the training, literacy and coaching program, over 06 months.


During the ceremony, the women who benefited from the project received their certificates of participation. In addition, around 10,000 euros were distributed to the best projects (coop and individuals), to help them improve their income-generating activities. They received materials (motocycles for farmers, refigerators, threading machines, sewing machines, etc.), and financial supports. They mainly work in the domains of agriculture, breeding, transformation, commerce, etc.


As a reminder, the 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 is an initiative of Kids' House , co-funded by the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) (arounf 65,000 Euros received form OIF), which aims to educate and empower women and girls in rural and peri-urban areas of Côte d'Ivoire (Training, Literacy, Financing. ..).


Our heartfelt thanks go to our partner, the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the Commission Nationale de la Francophonie and the Direction Régionale du Ministère de la Femme, de la Famille et de l'Enfant, our trainers and alphabetizers, partner, school principals and inspectors, the Kids’House team, and all those who have supporsted and continue to support the realization of this project.


Please notice that the project lasts 1 year and 06 months, and targets 3 regions of the country. It has already started in the second region, the Indenié Djuablin, with 260 beneficiaries.
